ok, the gauntlet? i’m throwing it down right now cause, frankly, i’m a little sick of having a tumblog awash in musical awesomeness and nothing to show for it. seriously, 4 plays and 1 note for “Hollywood Hopeful?” 1 LISTEN FOR DE LA SOUL’S “I AM I BE?!?!?!” that’s fucking criminal in some states (or at least Des Moines).
so here’s the deal, and i’m deadly serious about this: 48 hours. this song gets at least 10 plays, 5 notes and 1 reblog. it’s not like i’m asking for much here. honestly, i don’t even really care about the tumblarity, which is out back in the fucking outhouse right now anyways. i care about passing a long really good music to people. it isn’t hard, and it’s not like i’m fucking john peel over here. i don’t even know why i care.
the main point is this: this song is FUCKING INCREDIBLE. if it doesn’t get it’s due on tumblr, i’m going to be mighty disappointed and in 48 hours, at the very least, there’s no more music from me. at the most, i quit tumblr altogether. because if at least ten people don’t listen to this song, what’s the fucking point?
